Brian leaves Brian’s Buddies as his legacy
Brian tragically lost his life on 27th November 2020 after a short , incredibly brave battle with asbestos related lung cancer . Brian was the proud director of A Groom With A View dog grooming and doggie day care centre in Skellingthorpe Lincoln and spent a lot of his spare time helping rescue dogs find forever homes . Brians family asked for donations to help dogs instead of flowers at his funeral in his memory and raised enough funds to sponsor a kennel for Doris Banham for one year and we hope to continue raising money to keep our kennel going , for every £10 spent through Brians Buddies we will donate £1 to Doris Banham rescue , so please donate if you can to such a worth while charity.
As the dogs Doris Banham rescue are imminently due to die, we need to urgently remove the dogs from the danger they are in to a lifesaving safe haven kennel with an experienced kennel team where they can be rehabilitated both physically and mentally and prepared for our ultimate goal of finding them a forever home.
We can sometimes have as little as a couple of hours’ notice that a dog is due to die and it is vital for us to know that we have a kennel that we can fund available immediately to be a safe house for that dog. If we say yes the dog lives and if we say no the dog dies and that is a terrible burden as we are literally the last chance for that dog to live.
If we know that kennels are funded, we can help desperate dogs for whom time has run out knowing we have somewhere to bring them.
The kennel will be used for dog after dog to save them from being destroyed.
