Brian's Buddies are here to help you fulfil your dreams to work with animals. Originally a family run business with over 25 years' experience and qualifications in dog grooming, welfare, dog training, behaviour and teaching. Brian's Buddies aim is to help others succeed in the animal care industry. After building up a successful dog and cat grooming salon, doggy daycare centre, home boarding and dog grooming training academy we decided to go on to help others achieve the same fulfilling ambitions where work doesn't feel like work.
One of our Academy Tutors has over 32 years experience teaching in college and a large chain company. Once qualified we stay with you every step of the way as you go into the industry, weather its Dog or Cat grooming , Day care or a teeth cleaning course we offer life time mentorship so you’ll never feel alone.

We have our very own training room within a busy salon and daycare centre so you can rest assured you'll receive 1-1 training as well as plenty of time working within our dog and cat grooming salon, you won't leave until you can groom to our high standards.
iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management
Accredited training course tailored around your availability. Fast track available to those experienced, we also offer iPET Network Level 4 Higher Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming as well as iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Cat Grooming and Salon Management.
Mentoring and refresher days
These days are designed for those newly qualified, just set up or even those who just want to get the hang of that one thing slowing you down. We can be your mentors in this grooming industry so you never feel alone.
Groom your own dog days
These are for doggie owners who want to know how to brush, bath, dry and style their dog themselves. You will get a full day dedicated with one of our tutors and ongoing support after as you go it alone.

Developed to equip its Candidates with the knowledge required to work effectively within a dog day care, boarding kennel or home boarding business. The qualification content has been carefully curated to ensure it addresses the licensing requirements for day care and boarding (kennel and home) in the United Kingdom and guides Candidates towards understanding achievement of 4 and 5-star ratings for their businesses (in England).
